Our largest Georgia mountain wedding venue is one of spacious mountain elegance. It’s nestled in a tranquil, private forest surrounded by breathtaking views. This new facility, opened in 2020, offers an architecturally beautiful mountain lodge with touches of expert craftsmanship apparent throughout.

It’s designed to appeal to nature-loving couples who prefer a more open-air natural setting that can range from formal to informal depending upon the bride and groom’s taste. We consider it a privilege to work with brides and wedding planners to customize and stage all aspects of the wedding celebrations from rehearsal and rehearsal dinner to wedding ceremony, and reception, all on-site.

Forest Lodge Amenities

Forest Lodge features a custom-made waterfall, pond and boulder entrance to a large, stunning wedding site with a massive stone fireplace, reception and dancing area, full audio and speaker built-in sound system, and hand-crafted mountain log bar. With large spaces, vaulted timber ceilings, views of distant mountain ridges, and beautiful native plant gardens, you can rest assured you’ll have the perfect backdrop for the wedding of your dreams.

The Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant captures the historical architecture and charm of a bygone era. It’s as you would imagine an old mountain lodge from the 1920s to be. Native woods were used to build it as well as local rock and expert masonry. It’s been renovated by a preservationist so while offering modern comforts it doesn’t forsake its original characteristics.
