Innkeeper’s Cottage

Constructed of cedar board and batten, it was built in the early 1900s and restored by the current owners. The open, spacious living room with a cathedral ceiling features an original stone fireplace. It flows into a fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable period antiques and primitives, oriental rugs, and local art create an upscale eclectic Blue Ridge Mountains atmosphere.

There are two bedrooms featuring queen-size beds, unique private baths with stone showers, and modernized antique dry sinks lined with copper. The two bedrooms can be rented separately. Each has its own entrance.

They are offered as the “one bedroom master suite” or the “one bedroom main cottage,” which includes the living, dining, and kitchen areas. A large cedar log front porch with cedar Adirondack furniture is perfect for outdoor dining or just sitting and enjoying yourself. Historic Hall’s Boat House and Marina across the street is a great place to put your boat in or have a rental brought to you. Amenities include TV, DVDs, WiFi, maid service, and a full gourmet breakfast each morning in the main hotel.
