Our North Georgia Mountain Bed and Breakfast Inn features a delicious complimentary gourmet breakfast served in the restaurant for guests which is included with your stay. The breakfast menu changes daily. All breakfast, brunch, and dinner menu items are prepared with locally grown, organic produce throughout the season.

Cuisine prepared at the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant is American, brushed by world influences that range from French and Middle Eastern to down-home Southern. It’s unique and adventurous, with ample selections for even a vegan vegetarian.
The Lake Rabun Hotel introduced the Farm to Table dining movement to the mountains of North Georgia several years ago. It maintains a close working relationship with regional farms and farmers throughout the entire growing season. Featured Farmer Thursdays bring a selected farmer into the restaurant with his or her produce to acquaint our guests with uses and growing practices, while the chef prepares small plates featuring delicious recipes that use a variety of fruits and vegetables as well as other produce supplied by the farmer.
The restaurant also features an outstanding wine list that offers select wines including local vineyards, choice micro-brews, and a full bar with specialty seasonal drinks.

Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant works closely with local farms and farmers to provide our guests with only the freshest, most nourishing and healthy ingredients, prepared in a way to bring out their natural flavors.

EXECUTIVE CHEF RYAN SPRUHAN
Honored as a Best Chef America in 2013, 2014, Chef Ryan Spruhan is an outstandingly talented and creative young chef. Though classically trained and experienced in French cooking, he also draws on and uses a wealth of culinary expertise garnered from cooking with three James Beard chefs to now create his own unique flavors and style.
When you talk to Chef Ryan, he will tell you first and foremost that he cooks for the complete satisfaction of his guests. His work history bears that out. He was Chef De Cuisine at Flight Restaurant, voted one of the top 100 restaurants in the country, Chef De Cuisine at the only 4 Star/4 Diamond French restaurant in Memphis, Chez Philippe at the Peabody Hotel, voted one of the “most romantic” restaurants in the country.
Though he’s worked all over the country, he was raised in the south, so expect to see a number of southern favorites on our menu.
FARM TO TABLE CAPITAL OF GEORGIA
At the Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant, he has the opportunity to work with local farms and farmers in and around Rabun County, the designated Farm to Table capital of Georgia. Fresh, organically grown produce is the basis for our meals - natural flavors speak for themselves. He believes that knowing how to enhance but not disguise what nature gives us is the job of a great chef. This is what you’ll experience with his food and as a certified Sommelier from the British Master Sommeliers he’s always able to make suggestions for wonderful wine pairings to give that extra spark to your meal.
