There are many fun-filled, unique local area attractions and things for you to do while you’re here in the North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains. Activities for the whole family range from adventurous to relaxing. The hotel is located across from Historic Hall’s Boat House Marina, where rental boats can be brought for your use on Lake Rabun. It’s only a few minutes from the public Lake Rabun Beach for swimming. We’re happy to make reservations for boat rentals, fine dining, horseback riding, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, zip-lining, golfing or any number of events or activities you may choose while you’re here. There are many outstanding hiking and mountain biking trails nearby, including the famous Appalachian Trail and Bartram’s Trail.
Tallulah Gorge - Tallulah Falls Adventures
The world-famous Tallulah Falls and Tallulah Gorge are minutes away, as are numerous other mountain waterfall sites. Rabun County has much in the way of cultural activities to indulge in, which include annual community festivals that celebrate our rich heritage, art galleries and antique shops, attractions and parks, nearby vineyards and working farms, live music and concerts. The list of things to do in our beautiful NE GA mountains is simply endless. There is most certainly something for everyone.

River Area Zip-Line
10-Line Zip-line Canopy Tour
Enjoy a three-hour thrill of zipping from high above the Appalachian rain forest and over a creek and a lake. $79.00 per person.
8-Line 2-hour Mountaintop & Goldmine Cave Tour
From the top of a mountain, and THROUGH a goldmine cave, crossing over pastures and multiple ponds, this tour extends over 93 acres and is the only one in Georgia with a cave zip. $55.00 per person, with Lunch $65.00
Each ride is suitable for any experience level. Speed is determined by the guide and the ability of the riders. Please plan on wearing appropriate clothing for the weather and closed-toe shoes.
1-hr. Moonshine Still Ride
Visit an old still on a scenic 3-mile mountain ride with streams and wooded trails. $45.00 per person.
Departs at 10, 1, & 3 daily.

2-hr. Mountain Ride
Ride 7-9 miles over a beautifully scenic wooded trail system deep into the forest. $65.00 per person. Departs at 10, 1 & 3 daily.
2-hr Mountain Ride w/Lunch $85.00
3-hr. Sunset Ride
A beautiful end to a day in the mountains, this ride takes you through the forest to the highest mountain, where you stop for a snack and watch the evening fade. $100.00 per person.
4-hr. Lunch Ride
This all-day ride travels over 11 miles as you wind your way through the forest on mountainous trails and descend into the Batesville valley for a delicious lunch stop. Departs 10 a.m. daily. $105.00 per person.
Fly Fishing Lessons – Learn to Fly Fish in One Day
Learn from the best! Rick Claridad, the creator and owner of one of the premier fly shops in the country, can teach you how to cast the line and land your fly with a gentle touch. He can also take you on location, where you learn to play and land a fish. Private two-hour lessons are $85.00 per person or $150.00 per couple.

Pontoon Boat Cruises
We offer various guided 2-hour pontoon boat cruises that each have a special theme and a specific time of year or hour for availability (see below). We also offer any-time guided 2-hour pontoon boat cruises all year from early March through the Christmas holidays. Enjoy this tranquil experience and also learn some of the history of the lake and its residents.
All guided boat cruises are $85.00 per person, season/weather permitting.
Full Moon Pontoon Boat Cruise
Become bedazzled as the full moon’s light brightens up the entire surface of Lake Rabun. Full moon weeks only, of course. Departure time is 8:30 p.m.
Leaf Looker Pontoon Boat Cruise
Experience the beauty of fall as the mountains become washed in color. Departure times vary. Based on availability, September through the first week of November.
Stargazer Pontoon Boat Cruise
No stars shine as brilliantly as they do in our mountain sky untainted by city lights. Departure times vary.
Sunset Pontoon Boat Cruise

Ski Boat Rental
Enjoy water sports or just simple exploration on beautiful Lake Rabun with your choice of inboard or outboard model ski boats.
Hourly $85 w/ two hour minimum, or Full-Day Rental $325.00.
2-Person Canoe & 1-Person Kayak Rental
Get a little exercise paddling while you enjoy beautiful Lake Rabun and its many beautiful coves. Rental rates are "per craft" rates and are flat rates per day for any amount of time up to a full day. $40.00.
